Arriving by car : from Temuco take the S-51 road to Cunco and continue towards Melipeuco upto km 75. Turn right and cross the Puente Medina Bridge. 50 M after the bridge, at the sign post to "Ruka Melilef - Agroturismo", turn to the right and follow the main track for 1km, and continue past another sign post "No cazar Comunidad Melillan" another 1 km to reach Ruka Melilef (Melilef Farm House).

-From Santiago : from the bus terminal in Alameda there js a night bus with "Inter Bus" direct to Melipeuco, (10h). Ask to descend at km 75, 'Puente Medina and the directions above.

-From Temuco : take the bus for Melipeuco from the Rural Bus terminal -(de buses rurales), Avenida Pinto, n° 032. Journey takes 2hrs. Ast to get off at "Puente Medina" and follow the directions above
